Kelm Power Systems in Hitchcock, TX

Serving Hitchcock

Hitchcock is Santa Fe’s neighbor along State Highway 6, with open land, larger lots and low-lying areas near Highland Bayou and the bay.

Kelm Power Systems provides standby generator installation, service, maintenance and monitoring for homeowners in Hitchcock. We’re a local, family-run part of Kelm Home Services, based in Santa Fe, and the licenses behind the work are held by owner Clint Kelm: TECL #21849, TMEL #510665, RMPL #41051, RRC LP-Gas #EXE-0016376.

What to know about Hitchcock homes

• Many properties here are outside natural gas service areas, so LP-gas (propane) generators are common. We size the tank and line for realistic run times.
• Where flood exposure is a concern, we look at raising the generator on an elevated stand, as you can see in many of Kelm’s own install photos.
• Salt air and wind are hard on outdoor equipment, so placement, mounting and regular maintenance are especially important here.
